Every country has a dance, every dance has a story. I am committed to telling those stories by studying the roots of movement and how dance is a reflection of how we are. We dance for celebration, mourning and just because it feels good. With dance is my passion, I travel around the world teaching, writing, producing and filming dance. Using the dance as the lens to get inside and really experience a culture.

Dance is the universal language and our birth right.

My studies and travels have danced me through North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean and the South Pacific. My classes, workshops and retreats are designed to make dance accessible, allowing the transformative power of the dance to heal the body, mind and spirit.

I continue to film, study and teach dance all over the world, bringing indigenous flavor and total free self-expression into my classes, workshops and retreats. I offer private and group lessons for couples, singles, the (about to be wed), and absolutely anyone looking to bring the joy of dance into their life. Currently, I also collaborate with the non-proft Ballroom Dance Program,

Teaching 5th graders life lessons wrapped around the beautiful art form of ballroom dance.

My dance studies and teachings include a fusion of African, Caribbean, Latin, Belly Dance, Indian, Flamenco, Samba, Two-Step, American Ballroom, Hoop-Dance, S-Factor, Yoga-Trance Dance and Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms practice.

I am a 200YTT Yoga teacher studying under Shiva Rea and Alison Sinatra.

Once upon a time I was a competitive Ballroom Dancer, becoming a National Finalist and World Semi Finalist in International Latin Pro/Am. My show, “Dance The World: Brazil” aired 2011 on the Travel Channel.
