One to one yoga sessions are a great way to take time out for yourself to enjoy a space tailor-made to suit your own needs.
Yoga Therapy may benefit a wide variety of common ailments and is helpful in bringing balance to all your layers of consciousness, not just the physical.
The theraputic practices used in Satyamvidya Yoga are also particularly effective in helping emotional issues, for it provides a space to release and move forward. If you feel blocked but aren't sure why, then this kind of therapy can be very beneficial as you are able to take space to reflect on your life. Gently, layer by layer, the emotions that have been buried over many years, rise to the surface, and it is only then that we can begin to understand our patterns and behaviours so that healing can take place. It is a space of great transformation.
Individual sessions are also useful for developing a Yoga Home Practice - which is something many students struggle with.

I provide individual home practice guides after each session, and those that commit to practicing at home, are likely to experience bigger shifts in their well-being.
Usually, 6-8 sessions are recommended initially, depending on your needs; this allows for progress to be made and the benefits to be felt. Follow up sessions can be taken every month or so afterwards, if required. I work intuitively and use various techniques depending on the requirements of the individual. Many of my clients comment on how cared for and safe they feel during our sessions - this creates a deep connection of trust, which makes the therapeutic journey much more effective.
No prior experience of yoga is necessary before starting.
