Full Description

Our program has been successfully running for 15 years and we have graduates teaching all over the world! At the end of the course, you will be a Certified Yoga Instructor, ready to teach and eligible to register with Yoga Alliance. This is a rare opportunity to receive a double certification - Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga!

Lineage & Style:
We teach a safe, alignment-based yoga style that is creative, dynamic, and intelligently sequenced. It can be easily adapted to diverse levels and different tempos for a well-rounded and integrated yoga practice. The philosophy portion of the program is based on the ‘8 Limb Path’ of Patanjali and enriched by the history of the yogic tradition of India. The asana practice is inspired by Hatha Yoga and the Ashtanga system of Pattabhi Jois, where poses are linked together with the breath through the rhythm of Sun Salutations with relevant warm-up and cool-down elements in every practice.

About the Program:
This two-week residential, intensive yoga teacher training is an exceptionally high-quality, fully comprehensive, and life-transforming experience. It is passionately and skillfully led by Jennifer Yarro, Lauren Harris, & Karen Ring within the guidelines of Frog Lotus Yoga given by the founder, Vidya Heisel. All of our teachers are trained in Thai Yoga Massage and have a strong anatomy background.

Over 100 poses will be covered in-depth during the training with special attention to anatomical awareness, articulate cueing, and skillful assists. At the end of the training, you will be qualified to teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga as well as various levels of Hatha Yoga Interdisciplinary classes (including 'Slow Flow' & Restorative Yoga).

We pride ourselves on our high-integrity and thorough program to comply with the requirements of Yoga Alliance. Therefore, in this two-week immersion format, you will be given ADVANCE homework as a part of the curriculum including readings, practice and online seminars to complete BEFORE our start date. Enjoy a unique opportunity to deepen your practice before you even arrive!
