During this yoga teacher training, the students will have the opportunity to begin with courses the second day of the training and continue throughout culminating in each student leading at least two full yoga asana classes and meditation sessions. Meditation and self-realization are the goals and the process of a yoga practice, and this course reflects this goals by devoting lots of lecture and practicum time to various meditation techniques and mantra chanting sessions. This training also offers the opportunity to take yoga sessions with horses. Horses are wonderfully intuitive creatures and will help the students to realize their own commitment to self-awareness through their ethical interactions with horses as a path to understand and live a socially and spiritually responsible life. The students will also be able to express karma yoga with the local Costa Rican community working with the local schools, community centers, indigenous communities, and wildlife refuges. Additional classes are acro-yoga , pool yoga, and Yoga Nidra. One day off a week will be offered to explore local sites.
