200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Our 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course offers complete theoretical and practical knowledge of Yoga for instructors. We provide a hands-on training program that includes all the important elements of yoga such as Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas, anatomy, adjustment, alignment, mantra chanting, meditation and many more traditional Yoga techniques.

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training are held every month beginning on the 1st. They are held over a period of four weeks with 7-8 hours a day for 6 days a week.

In Maa Yoga Ashram 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training over the next four weeks, you will be introduced to the key concepts & practices of Hatha Yoga. The course will focus on the following topics:
» Asana: Yogic postures comprise four hours of the daily schedule. You will be introduced to the various asanas in a systematic manner with progressively increasing level of difficulty. Once the basics are mastered, asana flows, adjustments and subtle aspects of breath & awareness will be brought into focus.
» Shatkarma: These yogic cleansing practices will be integrated into the daily morning schedule and will work in conjunction with the asana practices.
» Yoga Anatomy: You will learn anatomy and physiology relevant to yoga in order to strengthen the classroom explanations, cues, and corrections of asanas.
» Yoga Philosophy: This class will focus on introducing you to the basic philosophy, concepts and history of yoga. It will cover the various traditional philosophies and viewpoints, insights from modern research and ways in which the essence of this holistic life-view can be integrated into a modern lifestyle.
» Pranayama, chanting & meditation: You will learn techniques to work with vital energy centers in the body with a goal of becoming proficient enough to teach these skills to your students.

08:00 to 08:30- Tea Break
08:30 to 10:30- Yoga Asana Practice
10:30 to 11:30- Breakfast
11:30 to 13:30- Lecture (Yoga Principles / Philosophy / Yoga Sutra / Sanskrit / Mantras)
13:30 to 15:00- Lunch / Rest time
15:00 to 16:45- Lecture (Human Biology and applications / Ayurveda / Traditional Yoga Texts) / Karma yoga
16:45 to 17:00- Refreshing time
17:00 to 19:00- Yoga Asana Practice including teaching Practicums
19:00 to 19:30- Rest time / Free time
19:30 to 20:30- Dinner time
20:30 to 22:00- Self Study
22:00 – Lights off
Yoga Teacher Training Eligibility
Any Indian or foreigner who has interest in learning ancient traditional yoga and its applied science, with the ability to follow the instructions and lectures in english.
The applicant’s age should be between 18 to 60 years age at the time of admission.
The applicant should be in a good physical condition because we have a very busy schedule with at least 7 to 9 hours daily.
