200 HR Teacher Training

I am incredibly honored to have Jen, Nicole & Kathy as a part of Balance’s 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training. Each of these women brings a unique aspect: from Jen’s outstanding foundation in Anatomy to Nicole’s passion for movement to Kathy’s distinctive knowledge of nutrition and herbs. I couldn’t be prouder of this faculty, prouder of the balance our quartet creates. Please take some time to “meet” these women through their bios and please, email me with any questions about our training & faculty.

Full Description

Erica Denman E-RYT

My mom always “warns” me to stop trying new things because, eventually, I will end up teaching it. She said that because it happened with dance and then Yoga. It could have happened with a few other activities but I stopped myself. After all, I was already a high school English teacher during the day. Obviously, I love to teach. People who know me will probably attribute that to my love of telling people what to do, but I’d like to think it’s deeper than that. I honestly love to help people become the best them that they can be. I loved doing that with my dancers and my high school students. Currently, I love working with my Yoga students and the high school teachers I lead as an Instructional Specialist and Curriculum Writer.

I truly believe in my 17 years in the classroom, my years of Yoga teaching, my background as an Education Director & Yoga Studio Director, my past experience as a Yoga Teacher Trainer and my passion for learning makes me a highly qualified Lead Instructor. I am especially proud of Balance’s Teacher Training Curriculum; it’s carefully aligned to Yoga Alliance’s standards but, more importantly, I know it will be implemented by a faculty of women who truly know how to teach (and have fun).

I hope that you will join me and my faculty for this unparalleled training.
