Our unique 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification program offers many great advantages:
This program is sure to be a life changing experience as you connect with other amazing people and learn so much about yourself! Perhaps you have known that you want to teach yoga for a while and are finally ready to make the leap. Maybe you have been enjoying your own practice but have hit a plateau and want to deepen further. Maybe you dream of bringing an Honor Yoga studio to your hometown, but need to first enhance your technical skills and learn more about running a yoga studio.
Our intuitive program blends the beautiful flow of vinyasa with precise alignment and safety points to create a unique style that is fun and sustainable. Our asana teachers bring expertise in alignment and body mechanics to our Asana Labs and Hands on Assisting portion of the trainings. Their clear guidance brings an in-depth understanding to the subtle nuances of performing and teaching yoga postures.
Other areas of study including pranayama, meditation, philosophy, ayurveda and anatomy will be covered by experts in each area. Specialty yoga practices such as Prenatal & Restorative will be expertly led.
Teaching
Our program helps you find your voice and gets you practice teaching in Week 1! By the time you graduate, you will have the experience and confidence to lead a community class and skills to market yourself as a yoga instructor.
We have cushioned the program with extra hours in case a last minute emergency comes up and you need to miss a class. Our teachers are available to you throughout your training & beyond to chat about questions. You also have up to 2 years to complete the program and make ups can be done at other Honor Yoga locations.
