2nd Annual Ozark Mountain Yoga Festival
Join us each morning Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 for Yoga Mala group Sun Salutations or alternately held chant and response Sadhana to start the day. Yoga classes start at 9:00 and run consecutively, overlapping every two hours in two seperate studios until 5:00 (sign up sheets for classes will be available each morning of the event). A more detailed schedule of classes and teachers will be posted when available.
Type of Event
Presentations, performances, discussions and lectures will be happening in a large centralized open air tent throughout the day and a live concert at 7:00pm Saturday.
Yoga styles represented include but are not limited to Hatha, Kundalini, Power, Acro, Raja, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Jivamukt, and Iyengar.
Numerous lodging options can be found in the region with everything from boutique hotels, isolated VRBO cabins and various camping opportunities from developed sites to going backcountry primitive along the river bank. Checking the Buffalo River Chamber of Commerce's web site is a great place to start.

The Ozark Mountain Yoga Festival is a unique grassroots festival held at a picuresque, organic, self-sustaining yoga shala representing the deepest values of compassion and union with nature. Local musicians, craftspeople and participants of every kind are welcomed to contribute to the success of this family friendly, dynamic celebration and one of a kind event. Plan for some extra time before the event or afterwords on Memorial Day and canoe the pristine Buffalo National River, camp, climb or hike in the beautiful Ozark National Forest.
