This 30-hr training is approved by the Intl Assn of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and is on the curriculum of select accredited yoga therapy programs.

• LEARN pose modifications and precautions for each type of treatment received from lumpectomy, mastectomy and lymph node dissection to radiation, chemotherapy and breast reconstruction
• DISCOVER therapeutic yoga techniques to assist possible long-term side effects, such as lymphedema, neuropathies, osteoporosis, weakened posture, reduced arm mobility, fear of recurrence, and loss of the feminine spirit.
Part medical discourse, part yoga inquiry, this training examines the complex array of physical, mental, and emotional challenges survivors face. And explores how the science, philosophy, and psychology of yoga can aid recovery on all levels.
DAILY YOGA PRACTICE: Experience multi-level recovery classes, featuring Camille’s signature Recovery Arm Vinyasas®, which provide far more effective teaching options that the basic yoga of other cancer trainings. Camille leads all yoga classes. You will not forfeit training learning time to break into simulated practice groups.
INCLUDES: Yoga for Breast Cancer Recovery & Beyond© manual, with detailed outlines of therapeutic yoga sequences for the newly diagnosed, rehabilitative sequences for post-surgery recovery, and non-injurious vinyasas for those who are years beyond treatment but at a lifelong risk for lymphedema or osteoporosis.

ABOUT CAMILLE KITTRELL, , ERYT 500, C-IAYT
In 2003, Camille founded Exclusive Yoga Studio in Waltham, MA, and launched her innovative yoga program for women facing breast cancer. Today, Camille is recognized by Boston’s medical community as a pioneer in her field. She is a yoga specialist for Massachusetts General Hospital and, for 12 years, a popular workshop presenter at Beth Israel Deaconess’ annual Celebration of Life event, sponsored by Harvard Medical School.
Camille’s specialized yoga methods have been featured on NPR, the CBS Evening News, and in Boston Magazine and VOGUE. She leads yoga teacher trainings on cancer, cardiac wellness, and other specialties worldwide.
With more than 20 years of experience as a yoga and fitness instructor, Camille furthered her study at forums on breast cancer issues, led by oncologists, plastic surgeons, nurses, physical therapists, and social workers. She is a graduate of Yoga of the Heart® for Cardiac Rehab and Cancer Patients and the medically-approved Lebed Method® Lymphedema Training.
CAMILLE'S DVD: Gentle Yoga for Recovery & Beyond was selected by the Mayo Clinic for use in their 2015 study on cancer recovery.
