Intro to Ayurveda

experience these new concepts in our bodies through a specialized yoga practice
enjoy a homemade vegetarian lunch of rice, dal (Indian lentils) & vegetables
Fundamentals of Digestive Health
discuss the use of spices, food and lifestyle adjustments for optimal digestive support
Spring Cleanse Orientation
break down of the logistics for the 3-week cleanse (pre-cleanse, cleanse, post-cleanse protocol); distribute handout and Cleanse Kit
Your fee includes the cost of one Cleanse Kit ($75 value), containing:
-All food supplies for the cleanse (rice, mung dal, ghee, & spices)
-16oz organic body oil (sesame)
-4oz organic castor oil
-Triphala (ayurvedic herb used to support digestive health)

Details of the Spring Cleanse:
An ayurvedic cleanse does not focus on fasting, juicing or raw foods. Most of us need the support of nourishing foods and lifestyle habits. This 3-Week Spring Cleanse places equal emphasis on both cleansing impurities and nourishing the body. You will be eating light and easily digestible cooked food that gives a break to your digestive system and aids in the process of ridding your body of toxins while giving you a feeling of satiation and support.
Over the course of these three weeks, you will go through a pre-cleanse routine of observing your food and lifestyle habits to decide what you would like to change, the cleanse period of 3-5 days eating from a special menu of foods, and a post-cleanse transition to mindfully integrate the foods and lifestyle shifts you’d like to maintain going forward.
