What is Thai Yoga Therapy?
Thai Yoga Massage is an intuitive practice that involves deep listening and respect of the person. We honour these Eastern traditions and integrate yoga therapy techniques through out the practice, creating a powerful healing combination.
What is Therapeutic Adaptive Yoga?
Therapeutic yoga helps you to recognize where you are holding tension in your body and how to let it go. Tension can arise in the form of aching muscles but it can also be held in locked breathing patterns and ways that we neurologically respond to circumstances we encounter such as stress or trauma. Whether in a group or private setting you are assisted in finding your place of ease in both your body and mind through discussion, breath work and postures that are specifically chosen for your individual needs. Therapeutic yoga addresses the whole person - physical, energetic, emotional, and mental. We first assist our clients in releasing pain and tension from the physical body and then help them to release stored emotions and bring balance to their nervous system. We incorporate aspects of mental hygiene and help them to let go of thinking patterns that no longer serve them. Through nutritional support and lifestyle guidance we help them feel their very best and find their passion or bliss.
