Full Description

Each morning there will be a Hatha Yoga Practice focusing on gently waking up and stretching out the body, as we ground and release into our mats. We will incorporate some Pranayama (breathing techniques), as well as Asanas (yoga poses) that will encourage opening up of the Hips, Hamstrings and Lower Back – all the areas we are sometimes tight in. Our practice will close with a Meditation and Relaxation introducing the Chakras (energy centres in our body), leaving you feeling energized and revitalised.
After a delicious homemade Brunch, there will be time to meander around the grounds, read a book, chat with each other or take in a local walk.
Karen will be offering a midday Power Yoga Practice each day for those who wish to immerse themselves deeper into their yoga practice. Of course this is optional.
After a light lunch you are free to spend the afternoon in the Hot Tub, Sauna or experience the amazing Hot outdoor Bath relaxing beside the beautiful waterfall – or just relax and do nothing at all.
I will be offering a midday Yoga 'Playtime' Practice with an emphasis on trying out new and familiar poses in a fun way. Exploring different ways of getting into poses that maybe once seemed too difficult.
Before Dinner an evening Hatha practice will allow us to gently wind down the day through nurturing forward folds and gentle twists. This will help bring about a calm feeling in your body and mind to encourage a good nights sleep.
