The 500 hours yoga teacher training at Jeevmoksha has been designed to strengthen the yogic conditioning in students while letting them merge into the classical system of learning and practise. The course includes detailed study of concepts of yoga and learning correct methodology of teaching Asanas, Pranayama, Dharana and Dhyaan. You will explore the new dimensions within your existing level of practise of these aspects of yoga while learning others, and will be encouraged to transform into an experienced yoga teacher along with earning your credentials at 500 hours level with Yoga Alliance USA.

500 hours yoga teacher training syllabus.
The course syllabus will include the following :
1. Yoga philosophy indepth. Study of Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Hatha Yoga Pradeepika, Swar Yoga, and Bhagwad Geeta to bring alive the philosophy of yoga in our lives and classes.
2. Human anatomy and physiology explained in correlation to the practices of Yoga viz. Asanas, Pranayama, Shatkarmas and Meditation.
3. Understanding of the Vedant system and its evolutes of personality.
4. Mantra chants and Kirtans will be an integral part of the routine.
5. Identification of individual personality types and modifications in yoga according to the same so as to procure maximum benefits out of the practise.
6. Importance of diet and inclusions of a yogic diet suitable from physiological, mental and spiritual perspective.
7. Teaching methodology and concepts of class design and conduction. Principles of adjustments and modifications on anatomical plains in asanas so as to initiate the Yoga Vritti while practicing. Students will be conducting their own classes from the fourth week of the course.
8. Active group discussion, presentations and question answer sessions.

500 hours yoga teacher training daily schedule:
The program follows a routine which involves around 7 hours each day of training under the presence of a teacher. Apart from that extra hours are utilized for self study and completing home work which is an essential part of learning system to make the knowledge more integrated into your minds. The day begins at 5: 30 am which is the wake up time. Morning practice of mantras, asanas, pranayama will be followed by breakfast and then lectures on various aspects of yoga including philosophy and anatomy. Lunch is followed by some rest hours where students can engage in self study and completing the assignments. After the evening routine of practise dinner commences 7:30 onwards and students are encouraged to sleep early as its needed to get proper rest in the hectic schedule.

Daily Guidelines
» Moments of Silence for 3 times a week from 9:00 to 10:00 pm.
» Students are required to attend all classes other than any health reasons.
» Outings are not permitted except other than the scheduled and any else on your day off.
» Evaluation procedure involves homework, weekly assignments and final exam.
» Students must be spending enough time in introversion and self contemplation in order to gain maximum out of the course.
» Admission to the course can be cancelled any time on non conduct of required academic and ethical behavior.
