Aug - Nov - 2014. Seven weekends and Tuesday evenings. 200hr YA credited course or can be audited with 3 weekends and 7 Tuesday evenings.
$2,800 by July 8th, $3,000 after July 7th or $1,600 to audit 3 weekends & 7 Tuesdays. $100. application fee, $400. non-refundable deposit to hold your space and will go towards tuition. Payment plans available.
In this comprehensive study we will explore the subtle body and understand how we can use yoga as preventive medicine by employing the breath with the poses and developing an deep understanding of pranayama techniques, the structuring and sequencing of vinyasas from beginning to advanced postures, when to use bandhas, and how to determine the use of props.
You will come away with a solid understanding of yoga anatomy and alignment. We will discover sound vibrations, meditation and explore ancient philosophical texts, Sanskrit terms and chants.
You will become an effective communicator of the many facets of yoga' inner search, gain confidence, grace, determination and passion by stretching your boundaries and opening your mind to your own personal experience. Most importantly you will share in the joy of receiving and giving yourself and your students health and happiness.
