This workshop will allow you to experience the essence and authenticity of true hatha yoga. Himalayan Hatha yoga is a strong, yet supportive form of yoga.
In this workshop we will explore the arm balance and leg balances embedded in the series 1 and 2 of Himalayan Hatha Yoga. The workshop will also focus on how the breathe can be used for balance. Yogi strongly believes that it is not muscle that holds the balance. It is the mind that creates the balance and the breath gives you the ability to hold it.
Using breath awareness within each posture, you will explore the use of the powerhouses of Himalayan Hatha Yoga in the form of bandhas, mudras and elements giving you mental strength as well as physical.
Yogi will close the practice with a deeply restful savasana followed by a meditation, allowing your body to relax and integrate the powerful changes in your physiology and psychology that you have created through the practice.
Suitable for beginners and advanced students.
