Friday, September 16
4-9 pm Welcome Reception at Pryors Porch
Enjoy light refreshments including a special tasting of kombucha with Barefoot Bucha. Pick up your gift bags and welcome packets with schedule, maps, menus, and other goodies!

Optional Classes:
7-8 pm: Beginners Mindful Meditation
This session will demystify some of the myths about meditation and get students comfortable with basic mindfulness techniques. Using the breath as a focus point we will begin to calm the mind and explore this powerful stress reducing practice.
8-9 pm: Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep)
Yogic Sleep is an ancient practice of deep relaxation. Using guided meditation (no experience required) this practice leads the student through progressive relaxation techniques. Let go, release tension and experience yogic sleep.

Saturday, September 17
9:30-10 am Welcome and Continental Breakfast
10-11 am Session 1: Meditation
This meditation practice uses focus techniques to practice the art of being present – in the present moment. We will practice short meditations to experience letting go of our thoughts and developing our relationship with our own mind.
11-11:15 am Break
With light refreshments.
11:15-12:15 am Session 2: Gentle Hatha Yoga
This class has an emphasis on creating union of mind, body, and spirit through movement, breath, and relaxation. Includes gentle flow into yoga postures and pranayama (yogic breathing). This class moves at a gentle pace.
12:30 am-2 pm Lunch at The Copper Mine Bistro - A Mindful Eating Experience
A delicious, clean, healthy and nutritional meal will be provided for all participants.
2-3 pm Session 3: Nutrition
Tracy Webber, graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, will share with us some basic tools for moving forward when it comes to nutrition. Tracy has successfully helped many people knock down their obstacles to eating well. It will be a great opportunity to address any issues that are holding you back!
3-3:15 pm Break
With light refreshments.
3:15-4:15 pm Session 4: Bringing Wellness to Your Daily Life
Crystal Oliver and Johannah Dottori from A Place to Breathe Meditation and Yoga Studio discuss tips, tools and practical applications for bringing wellness into your daily life. You will have the opportunity to make an achievable plan that creates lasting change.
4:15-4:30 pm Break
With light refreshments.
4:30-5:30 pm Session 5: Yin Yoga
Yin is a practice of holding certain poses for an extended period of time (props available), allowing the body the opportunity to open. This class increases joint strength, lengthens muscles and increases flexibility.
5:30 pm Closing Remarks
End this busy day of learning by returning to your intentions with a loving kindness meditation.
Sunday, September 18
8 am-7 pm Free Time for Spa Services, Resort Activities and Individual Yoga Consultations
Sunday is yours to enjoy all the resort has to offer: spa, aquatics and fitness, golf, tennis, hiking, and of course dining. For spa appointments, call 434-325-8562 and take advantage of your 20% discount on spa services this weekend.
10:45 am-4 pm: Individual Yoga Consultations
Consider a brief one-on-one consultation with your yoga instructor to ask any questions to help take the experience home; signup sheet available on Saturday.
