AcroYoga Class Series in May
Following on from the success of our FreeSport/Mayor of London funded AcroYoga course in Brixton in early 2016, we will be running a series of classes in May, with a view to establishing this as a regular class in the area. Suitable for complete beginners.
Type of Event
Class runs every Thursday in May, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Following class there will be a 1 hour "jam" (8.30pm to 9.30pm) which is where you have time for self-practice with teachers present, but not actively instructing. People from outside of the class may attend the Jam session for a small fee.
Early Bird Offer: Pay for all 4 classes up front before 1st May and pay £40 for all 4 classes.
Concession Rate: If you are in receipt of disability or employment benefits, you can pay a reduced rate, please contact us for details.
MAY ACROYOGA IN BRIXTON
Following on from the success of our FreeSport/Mayor of London funded AcroYoga course in Brixton in early 2016, we will be running a series of classes in May, with a view to establishing this as a regular class in the area. This set of classes will be suitable for beginners, both to AcroYoga and yoga practice generally. We will take time to really go in depth in these classes and clarify and practice the techniques to make the amazing and beautiful acrobatic poses totally understandable and achievable!
Dates: 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th May 2016
Time: Class will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. This will be followed immediately by a jam from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, which is optional and will be opened to people from outside the class if space allows.
Location: Arch 468 Studios, Unit 4, 209a Coldharbour Lane, London, SW9 8RU
The studio is opposite Loughborough Junction train station on the Thameslink line. The journey takes approx 10-15 mins by train from St Pancras, Blackfriars or Farringdon and just 5 mins by train from Elephant and Castle. Alternatively, it’s also just 12 mins walk along Coldharbour Lane from Brixton tube station. Buses 35, 45, 345, P4, P5, 68, 468 and 176 all stop within walking distance.
Cost: £40 for all 4 classes, booked in advance (on or before 1st May).
£12 per class booked after 1st May. Concession rates are available for those with a disability or on benefits – please contact us to find out more.
Places on this class series will be strictly limited so booking is essential.
People attending the jam only will pay £2 per person in cash on the day (but will need to book in advance to ensure there is enough space).
