In Sanskrit, Akhanda means whole, indivisible, unified. The hallmark of this approach is balance, harmony and self understanding. We think of the yoga system as being a vast, whole tradition that evolved into many different streams. In a holistic class we use themes to weave various aspect of yoga theory and practice together ino a tapestry that offers students a powerful experience and an experiential toolkit for their journey.

In 2014, we are delighted to offer Akhanda Yoga® 200-hour Teacher Training in London, at Greenwich University. It will conveniently run over 12 weekends, with a weekend retreat with Yogrishi Vishvketu.
Akhanda Yoga® programs are professional certified courses registered internationally with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 & 500 hour level. Akhanda Yoga UK is an affiliate of World Conscious Yoga Family.

Founder of World Conscious Yoga family
Yogrishi Vishvketu and Chetana Panwar developed World Conscious Yoga Family in 2001. Creating an international community of Yoga teachers trained holistically in all of the diverse aspects of this ancient consciousness-raising tradition. We call our holistic approach Akhanda Yoga®. Yogrishi Vishvketu will be teaching Advanced Techniques during the final weekend with a graduation ceremony. He will also be holding a non-residential retreat in London April 2015; this retreat is part of the 200-hour teacher training and is included in the course price.
Yoga Teacher Training & Director
Yog Sundari is an E-RYT 500 hour (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) She obtained her 200hr in California at The Chopra Center where she studied The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga. Her 500hr certification is from The World Conscious Yoga Family in Akhanda Yoga at Anand Prakash Ashram in Rishikesh, India.
Yog Sundari strives for beauty and clarity in her language. She is constantly investigating effective ways to present the ancient teachings, guiding students to explore mind, body and spirit, opening the door to self-discovery and illumination. As a yoga teacher her passion is bringing healing mantras and the symbolism of the primordial elements to her classes, encouraging the nurturing flow of breath by creating space and freedom in the body.
Philosophy & Yoga Teacher Trainer
Anandi has been in the health and wellbeing world for 25 years. She is a 500hr RYT and continues to study with Yogrishi Vishvketu on an ongoing basis. She has completed her philosophy internship with Yogirishi Vishvketu and Chetana Panwar in India and studied philosophy as a mentee of the late Georg Feuerstein. She is also an NLP instructor and hypnotherapist.
Techniques & Yoga Teacher Trainer
Piriamvada (Ali) is a 500hr RYT she teaches Akhanda Yoga in East London. She travels and studies regularly in India. She is passionate about yoga for all and how practice can positively influence our lives off the mat and vice versa.
Anatomy & Physiology
Investment includes an extensive training manual, required contact hours. A non-residential weekend retreat with Yogrishi Vishvketu in London April 2015, plus your Primordial Sound Mantra.
