Align and Refine your Sun Salutations

Some of us practice for years before ever breaking down "the vinyasa" pose by pose, analyzing the transitions between them. In this workshop, we'll go over proper alignment of plank, chaturanga, upward-facing dog, and downward-facing dog, emphasizing wrist, lower back, and shoulder safety.
Chaturanga will receive particularly detailed attention as we practice it using belts and propped by blocks. We will go over the ways to know when chaturanga and up-dog are not serving you and how to modify accordingly.

This is a workshop for beginners to advanced practitioners. It is especially of value to those who have been practicing for years, as we'll review movement of the feet in the transitions and how to integrate the core muscles. We'll even practice jumping forward and back with lightness and ease.
By deconstructing sun salutations in a workshop setting, you'll be freed up to truly find the moving meditation in your vinyasa practice.
