Alignment Workshop Luzern

These 2 workshops will focus on the correct alignment of the body with the aim of supporting a lifetime's practice injury-free.
Type of Event
These are 2 workshops: one on 09.01.16 from 14 - 17 and the second on 16.01.16 from 14 - 17. The second one builds up from the first but they may be booked separately.
In order to access and manage the subtly energetic body we first need to align and create conscious awareness of how we place the gross physical body in asana practice. The first workshop will focus on typical standing poses, including asanas we meet in a vinyasa flow class (Chaturanga/Urdhva Mukha and co.) and how to correctly align the body using the help of blocks, belts and the wall.
In the second workshop the focus will be on backbends and arm balances, again supporting the body with props where appropriate and necessary. You will learn how to modify asanas if there is an injury and how to adapt the practice according to your personal physical ability.
