Ease in 2020 with this afternoon of self-care, kindness and nurture.
Everywhere we turn in January we are bombarded with messages of becoming better, healthier, thinner, fitter versions of ourselves.
In reality, we can often feel pretty frazzled after all the festivities, and may even feel quite down and lethargic in January, in the midst of the cold, short and dark days.
So rather than trying to become some better version of yourself, why not instead take some time to nurture yourself and learn to be more accepting of yourself just as you are right now.
This workshop will be an invitation to slow down, turn inwards and set a real intention of self-care for this new year. Start how you mean to go on!
The afternoon will include some mindful and somatic movement to release tightness and tension from the body, followed by deeply relaxing and replenishing restorative yoga, along with nurturing breath work, mantra and deep yoga sleep (yoga nidra). You’ll learn some simple things that you can easily incorporate into your daily life at home, so as to continue with your self-care after the workshop.
You will leave feeling fully refreshed and recharged and ready to face January and the new year from a place of calm, self-acceptance and centredness.
