Mixed ability Hatha yoga classes, open to all, beginners welcome. Wednesdays 19:30 - 21:00. Please bring a yoga mat or a large towel, and a blanket for relaxation. You can join for the full term, half a term or during the term if a place is available. Fees are payable in advance to secure your place.
The classes are mixed ability allowing everyone to work at their own level, being small group classes individual attention is more readily available. The classes are 90 minutes long and consist of physical exercises as well as breathing, relaxation and concentration exercises. The benefits of yoga practice are: 1) strengthening and toning the body, 2) increasing flexibility and mobility, 3) focusing and calming the mind. Anita Green is an experienced fully qualified yoga teacher and yoga therapist with the British Wheel of Yoga and the Yoga Biomedical Trust.
