Ram Sangha retreats nourish the soul and help establish students in the practice of asana, meditation, and self inquiry. The beautiful surroundings add power to the groups capacity to soar and to take Yoga to its highest dimensions.

Anusara Yoga is heart oriented and grounded in Universal Principles of Alignment. It is a unique style of Hatha Yoga in which the artistic expression of the human heart blends magically with the scientific principles of biomechanics. By aligning with the Divine, we create structure for people to expand inwardly, clear obstacles, and open to the delight and richness of the present moment.

As we become still and melt into the pristine wilderness of the Catksill mountains, swim in spring-fed Beecher Lake, inhale fresh clean air, eat delicious meals prepared lovingly by the monks, each participant experiences deep spiritual, physical and emotional transformation.

Testimonials from previous retreats

Thank you Jackie and Rudrani, for showering us with your love, teachings, grace and wisdom. It was a magical, sweet experience for me and I loved meeting and being with all of you on retreat. I feel like something has already shifted inside me, an opening, that requires setting my intention with a daily practice….My heart still feels warm and filled with gratitude. I look forward to seeing you all again.

Such a wonderful weekend! I feel blessed that I met all of you and am excited to start living with the new insight I've gained during the retreat.

Thank you Jackie and Rudrani for sharing your knowledge and love so generously. I loved every minute of being with all of you. Thank you all for such a special time.

The retreat was amazing. I reconnected with my Self, and my meditation practice is back on track. Meditating and practicing in the sacred space of the monastery in one of the loveliest settings on earth–how wonderful! I carry this retreat with me back into ordinary life. I witnessed some extraordinary transformations during this retreat–you are both very gifted teachers and mentors. I am so lucky to be a part of this community.

It was a wonderful group of people, with a special energy– and more and more, the retreats are becoming permeated with these tantric yoga principles. I am gradually “getting” more and more of them.

How special both Jackie and Rudrani are for their commitment to transmitting what they have learned and how generous and engaged they are with their students. That’s really special

I love your leading us in the chanting, one of my favorite things.

It must feel good to be responsible for attracting so many people to this path by your teaching and modeling. You have created this community, which means so much to me and to so many other people.

How I loved this retreat. With every new exposure to the teachings and practices, I feel like I’m “getting it” a little bit more. This time actually felt like a shift — there was such powerful energy within the group. I experienced that personally in the meditation sessions, and realized that that energy pulse is accessible to us all. It made me think of radio dials where you just need to narrow in on the right frequency, also just relax into it—and practice.

As always, I really benefited from the Satsangs. I really took in what you said about roles and discipleship. I know I need to incorporate changes in my daily routines in order to make that a part of my life, but weekends like this provide me with strong motivation to continue meditation and build on this.

It’s hard to leave that place of peace and tranquility and that group of lovely people. The city is full of tensions and distractions. I’m going to break out my new incense and meditate before I go to bed and try not to let myself lose my focus.

Thank you for everything! Such a nice quiet tone was set right at the very first Satsang, and I was grateful for it right then and there. The level I classes in the morning were just perfect for me, it was so nice to have the small class size–a real treat!

This weekend retreat was just what the doctor–or rather, my inner wisdom and intuition–ordered!

I want to add to my deep gratitude to Jackie and Rudrani and all of you for your support and sharing this weekend. Something very special happened on the mountain this retreat and I feel deeply blessed to have had your help and encouragement, creating a place that was safe enough and sacred enough for the Shakti to shine through. I loved being with all of you. Thank you.

the retreat showed me is how very hard it is to have a clear, mindful presence and how much distracted or negative thoughts like to hijack the mind! And the retreat certainly gave an opportunity for those thoughts to quiet down and other ideas to take root.
