Ashtanga Yoga is the original dynamic form of
yoga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The three key elements: synchronising of the breath with movement (vinyasa), the sequence of postures (asanas), and the gazing points (dristhi), bring about a strong and flexible body and mind. The heat created internally during practice allows for toxins to flow out of the body, cleaning the blood and all internal organs. This detoxification brings a healthy body and an equanimous mind.
