Ashtanga Yoga Taster
Ashtanga is often known as being a strong physical practice and it is. But it is also so much more than that. When we combine posture with movement, breath, bandha and gaze we find ourselves in a moving meditation. We warm the body, but we do that so that we can warm the soul. Strong and flexible is not required to start, but it will be the result.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, usually referred to simply as 'Ashtanga', is a classic Indian style of yoga, from which many current styles, such as Vinyasa, have evolved. Understanding Ashtanga will help any keen yogi understand Yoga.
