We are so honored to host a brilliant Ashtanga Yoga teacher David Robson from Ashtanga Yoga Shala, Toronto here in Sarajevo. Please take this oportunity to deepen your practice and understanding of Ashtanga yoga system, floating, jumping, etc. All are welcome.

SCHEDULE-RASPORED:

***Fri 6:00PM - Led Primary
David will lead you through the traditional vinyasa count for the Primary Series, and provide some detailed instruction along the way.

***Sat 8:00AM- Learn to Float
When breath and movement are in union, our practice becomes graceful and filled with ease. Focusing on the vinyasas of Surya Namaskara, the Sun Salutations, this workshop will provide you with invaluable techniques to help you bring lightness into your practice. All levels are welcome to attend.

***Sat 4:00PM -Hips, Knees & Forward Bends
Ashtanga’s Primary Series is full of forward folds and knee bends. Correct technique and alignment is important in order to avoid injuring the hamstrings, lower back, or knees. This workshop will explore the different aspects of the Primary Series forward bends with the goal of keeping the body safe. Great for all levels.

***Sun 8:00AM- Mysore-style
Mysore-style practice is arguably the real essence of Ashtanga Yoga. One-on-one teaching in a group setting.
Mysore is the traditional format for practicing Ashtanga Yoga. Led classes are a fantastic way to learn about the vinyasa, but Mysore-style is where you follow your own breath and deepen your focus and mediation skills. David leads one of the world’s largest mysore programs at his home studio.

***Sun 3:00PM- Jump Back & Jump Through
Jump Backs and Jump Throughs are the transitional movements that link Ashtanga's sitting poses together. These vinyasas provide a bridge to carry our focus between asanas, and also build a purifying heat in the body that is said to boil the blood. This workshop will go over the jump-back and jump-through in close detail, and provide invaluable instruction useful for all levels of practitioners.

***Sun7:00 PM- Pain-free Backbending
Backbends don’t have to hurt. This workshop will explore the basic alignment and actions of Ashtanga’s Primary Series backbends. By learning correct technique for the poses, take the pain out of backbending and allow your body to safely go deeper into the postures. This workshop is open to practitioners of all levels.

Price for full workshop 100 EUR, single class 25 EUR.

PLEASE NOTE: Half payment (50 EUR) is due by August 1st, FULL payment is due by September PRICE of workshop after September 15th is 125 EUR, single class 30 EUR.
