Full Description

How can Ayurveda help?
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian Holistic Medical system of well-being connected to the physical, physiological and psychological body. Ayurveda in Sanskrit means 'the science of life' ( 'ayur'=life and 'veda'=knowledge).

Ayurveda uses five approaches to assess and prevent disease:
According to Ayurveda, health is a perfect state of balance amongst the body's three fundamental energies called Doshas: Vata (Air), Pitta (Fire) and Kapha (Earth). Ayurvedic principles hold that each person has a particular pattern of energy – an individual combination of physical, mental and emotional characteristics known as a constitution (dosha).

In this workshop you will learn how to work with your Allergies / Respiratory issues.
You will discover your own constitution (doshas), and learn how to to bring it back into balance.
We will be talking about home remedies, food and herbs, self cleansing and self massage techniques, which you can then practice at home to help you cope with your Allergies / Respiratory issues.

Through breathing techniques and yoga you will find a way to prevent and sooth your allergies.

We will give you handouts with instructions to use at home after the workshop.
And you can enjoy our complementary tea to help you preserve wellbeing and improve your spiritual, intellectual and physical ability.
