Backbends and Handstand Workshop with Catie Foroughi

Wakeup with some cleansing hot water with lemon and ginger. Then Yoga with Catie for 90 minutes. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the green hills of Umbria. Chill time which can be used for massages, pool time and perhaps excursions off the plantation. Late afternoon yoga and then dinner.

In the handstand workshops everyone shall find a place to be
comfortable in some handstand variation and everyone shall find that
they expand their abilities.
Beginners shall find their first handstand, and we shall all experience the
various ways to enter a handstand from kicking to the various pressing
up ways (such as straddling or tucking up), to finding movement within a
handstand to learning the steps to one arm handstand.
We shall experience optimum handstand alignment, with partners and
solo.
We shall warm up the body, strengthen the abs- and back muscles, open
the shoulders and experience alignment in plank and in many handstand
variations.
Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand) is a wonderful asana, always
proving space for expansion, giving great physical posture and
confidence to embrace to world as one's own. The whole art of
handstands provides perfect fitness.
In our backbending, or opening the front of the body workshops you shall
find great happiness, ease and a transforming consciousness. Backbends are magical.
