Full Description

A Japa mala or mala is a set of beads commonly used by Hindus, Buddhists and Yogis. A mala (garland) is used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra. This practice is known in Sanskrit as Japa. Malas are typically made with 16, 27, 54 or 108 beads.

In this workshop, we will be focusing on the beneficial gemstones for the Heart Chakra in recognition of Valentine's Day.

What you get:

semi-precious gemstone beads for 108 bead mala

coordinating thread

knot pulling tool

threading needle

tassel needle

a new skill you can keep forever

We will have tables and chairs to work at, unless you choose to work on the floor. We will provide water, hot tea and a small, non-sticky know, to keep your energy focused. This is tiny work, so if you wear readers, better bring them!

This workshop will be a ton of fun AND you get to go home with a fine piece of jewelry. It doesn't get much better than that.
