This workshop is a series, which meets every Sunday for 4 weeks.
Registration fees are non-refundable. Space is limited.
Unique Characteristics: Your commitment is to the entire series. This allows us to move and grow as a group. It also means you're learning with the same group week after week. You'll get to know and support each other. And best of all, everyone in the class starts out a beginner.
Workshop Format: Featuring demonstration, discussion and practice, you are free to ask questions as we figure out why we do the things we do in yoga. This structure allows us to give you not only the alignment details of a pose, but also the reasoning behind it. Step by step instruction is given and interactive learning is encouraged. An emphasis is placed on using breath to move in and out of each pose and effectively using props to modify your practice. Topics covered include a brief yoga history, yoga class etiquette, basic alignment, sanskrit, and more.
Slower Pace: The pace of the series is comfortable as the purpose is on learning and "getting it," rather than on having an intense workout. Yoga Vie provides all yoga equipment needed for class, just clear your calendar and we will take care of the rest. Start your journey of self discovery today.
Please note: Due to demand, space will not be held and only reserved when paid, this series cannot be pro-rated for missed classes, and no refunds are offered for cancellations. There are no make up sessions offered for classes missed.
