After completing this course students are able to attend classes within the school general timetable of classes.
Type of Event
This is a five week course on a Wednesday morning at 9.30am - 11.00. It is targeted to people New to Iyengar Yoga. Each class runs for 90 minutes.
Students work in their bodies to bring awareness to their posture, breath and senses. The main emphasis is on the standing poses to help energize the body by creating greater stability in the structures of the body. Students practice being aware of their breath and senses whilst working within the asana to facilitate improvements in metabolism and to balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
