There will be a beginners yoga course starting on Tuesday 5th May 1830 – 1930 at The Loft Studio, Coward Rd, Alverstoke PO12 2LF. The beginners course will run for 7 weeks £49 (other payments listed below).

The class is suitable for those who have never done yoga before or who wish for a yoga refresher after a break. For those of you who have attended the beginners course with Dragonfly will know how interesting and fun it is to attend. If the course is not suitable for you at this time, I do hope you will be able to pass over this information to anyone you think may benefit.

Information about the class:

Classes are based on Hatha integrating the principles ‘the safe skeletal alignment of the body’. You will learn how to use the blocks and props correctly to keep your body correctly aligned working at your own level and with any conditions you may have. A rota program starts very slowly, addressing fundamental principles not offered in every day yoga classes: internal energy locks, philosophical along with anatomical understanding. We will look at skeletal structures addressing your personal frame and build, major joint movements along with basic yoga postures. The basic fundamentals of breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation will be taught. This 7 week course is progressive to set you up to be safe in a general hatha yoga class. Beginner’s week one starts slowly increasing each week in preparation for the next level of class. This is a wonderful class for any beginner or anyone wishing to deepen their practise with a deeper understanding of the basics and students can start at any week during the 7 weeks, pay for the course or drop in.

The cost of the course is £47 to be paid prior to 4th May.
Early bird price £45 if paid before 14th April
