This workshop is designed for anyone new to yoga or someone who has never taken a yoga class. This class offers: breath-work techniques to understand the importance of the intentional breath in yoga, step-by-step direction for the proper way to do a sun salutation, foundational poses and a brief description of yoga history.

Putting yourself in a position to always be learning something new is a great way to stay fresh. A beginners mind, in yoga, keeps us free from falling into habitual patterns. This requires vulnerability and discipline. In turn this is very therapeutic and a healthy exercise not only for the body, but for the mind and spirit.

Please come see if yoga is for you! Arrive 15 min early and avoid eating 1 hour before class. If you do not have a mat we will provide one for you.
