This workshop will start with a Yin Yoga practice focused on attending to the deep, stuck recesses in the structure of your body. Yin yoga is comprised of slow, longer held postures that provide a luscious release of the fascia, joints, and connective tissue—the restorative sister practice to the more active, or Yang!
After Yin, lie back, supported, while you are guided through Yoga Nidra—or “deep yogic sleep”—meditation. Yoga Nidra operates solely on the levels of listening and feeling, as your body relaxes through several layers of consciousness, bringing a profound restorative effect to your mind.
These two hours you will give yourself the gift of peace, focus, and serenity that will carry you through the holidays and beyond.
