Chair Yoga for Seniors II - Yoga Above the Floor

Chair Yoga for Seniors II - Yoga Above the Floor is for people with prior yoga experience who want to practice without getting up and down from the floor. Half the class time is spent sitting in a chair and half standing. Your posture will improve as well as your strength flexibility and range of motions. Class meets once a week for 12 weeks.

$100 pays for 10 classes over a 12 week period. Individual classes may be purchased for $14 on a space available basis.

Full Description

"Physical inactivity is the strongest predictor of unsuccessful aging" according to University of Florida research on aging. Chair Yoga is a safe and therapeutic form of exercise specifically designed to help older adults improve strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance, all while promoting mindfulness and focused awareness.
