Yoga and Scoliosis
Take action to improve your scoliosis. Learn about the rotation of your spine and your lateral curves and do work to lengthen, de-rotate, and strengthen around improved alignment. Even if you have had fusion surgery, you need to work to improve your scoliotic pattern and strengthen above and below your fusion where the body becomes hyper-mobile.
Yoga and Scoliosis for Teens and Tweens
Don't watch and wait. Come learn lifelong skills to improve your scoliotic pattern as well as strengthen your whole body. You will be able to apply what you learn in this class to all your activities over your lifetime.
Backcare and Posture Essentials
Learn how to care for your back and relieve back pain. This class is appropriate for those with poor posture, an aching back, herniation, scoliosis, stenosis, and spondylolisthesis. We will work in a safe way to teach your whole body to support your spine and correct negative movement patterns so you will feel better and stay strong and active.
Backcare and Posture Essentials for Teens and Tweens
Correct poor posture before it becomes a lifetime habit. This is a fun and active class to strengthen your whole body and improve your posture!
Backcare and Posture Essentials for Seniors
This class has all the benefits of the Backcare and Posture Essentials class, but moves at a slower pace for those who want a gentler practice.
Lunchtime Tune Up
Does your back ache from sitting at your desk? Come strengthen muscle groups that weaken while sitting and return to work feeling re-aligned and happier!
Yoga for Athletes
This is a challenging class designed for athletes to work on range of motion, joint stability and symmetry after playing a sport that favors one-sidedness. This class will improve your performance in your sport and prevent injuries!
