Coastal village Hatha Yoga Retreat

You will be spending your week in our traditional stone build villa, within the gorgeous courtyard you will be practising your morning yoga and spending time relaxing, reading or visiting the surrounding area. There is plenty to see and do on your free time. Your afternoon practise will be at a different beach every day, so you get to visit most of the stunning coast of the area, breath taking views will leave you rejuvenated.

Saturday is the day of your arrival and you should aim to get to the site by around 6pm. We will have a group gathering at around 7.30pm followed by dinner together . The yoga course starts on Sunday morning.

Full Description

Accommodation within a twin room, breakfast, three dinners and two classes every day. There are some of the best restaurants in the village and coast, you can choose where to go or join the group at our suggested tavernas for the four evenings we will be enjoying our dinner out of the villa. There are two bathrooms within the villa so guest share one between two rooms. Car rentals will be arranged for people interested upon arrival.

The transfer is 40 minutes from Larnaca airport. We can arrange a minibus or taxi transfer for you. The price depends on your arrival time and numbers. It can be between €25 to €50 pp each way and it might require waiting for others to arrive.

STYLE OF YOGA: Hatha yoga – Seven Spiritual Laws of yoga as taught at the Chopra Centre for Wellbeing – The Chopra centre are world leaders in the field of mind, body medicine and for teaching the daily practices of yoga, meditation and Ayurveda. Restorative/yin yoga and Yoga Nidra

On retreats Anne-Marie will guide you through a unique personalised Ayurvedic/yoga style practice in the morning with a more dynamic, Hatha flow class incorporating pranayama, chakra balancing and meditation. The afternoon practice will be more restorative and yin-based with meditation and yoga Nidra. In all sessions there will be an emphasis on alignment, posture and on each individual’s specific needs with suitable variations given for any particular issues such as back, neck or joint issues or other health issues.

Anne-Marie’s warm and welcoming teaching style, interlaced with gentle humour and fun allows you to explore all aspects of your being in a safe and nurturing environment.
