Connecting with the Yamas & Niyamas

This course dives deep into the first two limbs of yoga, the Yamas/principles and the niyamas/observations. These limbs come from the eight limbs of yoga laid out by Patanajali in the Yoga Sutras. Most yoga students are familiar with the limbs asana (poses) and/or practice pranayama (breathing exercises), but there is so much more to yoga!

Full Description

Connecting with Yoga's Yama & Niyamas!

If you've been wanting to explore more of what yoga has to offer, this is a great start. The Yamas and Niyamas are principles and observations of how we interact with others and ourselves whether we are on the mat off or in our daily lives.

Our time together will be broken up into a short asana practice, discussion on what the Yamas/niyamas are and what they look like, group work, and then another practice. This is a perfect workshop for anyone curious about yoga, the seasoned yogi looking to refresh their practice, or any one in between!
