Creative Use of Props
We are uniquely beautiful and have different bodies, yet we are tying to make the same shapes in yoga. It's not a problem, there are tools to support all of us, sometimes to get access, sometimes to go deeper and sometimes to be reminded.
You'll gather a toolbox of tools and techniques for guiding students toward their potential to find empowerment or finding comfort/depth for your own practice to take your power back. We'll be playing with blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets and walls.

A yoga teacher’s toolbox is a diverse assortment of tools and techniques for guiding students toward their potential. Blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets and even furniture and the walls of the room itself can all become part of your approach to teaching. Whether it’s to help the new student find their balance or extend their range, or to guide the experienced student further into their own understanding, props can play a dynamic role in your classes. This workshop is geared toward teachers and to offer insight for students of all levels as they incorporate props into their own practice to enhance and find comfort. Bring your mat and come dressed for practice.
