It's surprising what a difference a couple of hours can make. In a world where we are getting busier and moving quicker, this workshop offers an opportunity to slow down and come into the present will help to relieve stress and balance our emotional and mental states which often become supercharged in today’s environment with it focus on technology, speed and accomplishment. This nurturing and replenishing workshop is designed to help you relax, create space and learn practical de-stressing tools through mindfulness meditation and yoga that you can apply to everyday life.

The yoga will include restorative and yin postures as well as gentle intuitive movement to harness healing, inner calm and renewal. With the assistance of props, postures are passively held for several minutes to encourage the body to open up. As a result, the gaze can move inwards to become more aware of habitual tensions created in our bodies and minds. This will be combined with breathing techniques, guided meditations and visualisations to further encourage rest. The class will end with a yoga nidra – “yogi sleep”, a deep state of conscious relaxation, leaving you restored and revitalised. All levels of experience are welcome.
