This is an opportunity for anyone wanting to experience not just one but two great teachers with a wealth of knowledge and experience. There will be something for all abilities and preferences. Expect the weekend to be filled with a fun and friendly approach towards postures whilst also adding a little challenge to each session. There will be static postures to find your alignment and strength and a playful Vinyasa or two to allow flow and freedom. The weekend will feature a wide variety of postures to suit everyone’s needs and will be suitable for beginners to the more experienced yogi. In addition to the physical practice of asana, there will also be plenty of inner reflection time, an outdoor walk and a daily morning practice of meditation, pranayama, relaxation, and discussions on the philosophy of yoga and applIcation in daily life.
Maxine Geary is a sports enthusiast and outdoor adventure yogi from Wigan who has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. Maxine has a clear, precise and friendly, fun-filled approach to teaching with a keen emphasis on encouraging students to work strongly to their own level of ability, develop awareness and stay present and connected with the body and breath during class participation. Maxine is qualified in Karuna Yoga, an Iyengar inspired yoga that focuses on strength, stamina, stability, and suppleness. Maxine is also a Holistic Personal Wellness and Lifestyle Coach and Movement Therapist and strives to help others to live and move to their true potential.
Janine Noblett is the owner of The Yoga Place North which specialises in Iyengar yoga. Iyengar Yoga is a stimulating form of exercise whereby postures, or asanas, stimulate the whole body, toning muscles, improving posture, increasing circulation, invigorating the nerves and organs and restoring strength and stamina bringing vitality to the body. Janine is a Junior intermediate level 2 Iyengar yoga teacher and also a fully qualified Fitness professional and Personal trainer. Janine’s mission is to inspire people’s minds to connect with their bodies creating a positive and vibrant soul.
ACCOMMODATION & MEALS:
All meals are of a wide & varied range of delicious vegetarian dishes & organic produce is used where possible. Accommodation is based on 2-3 shared basis - all rooms are en-suite. There are a limited number of single rooms.
The cost of this full weekend is £295.00 per person. If a single room is required please add an extra £95.00 pp & state preferred option when booking.
A £100 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is required to secure a place with the total balance due on or before 11/02/2019.
