Cyprus Playful Spring Yoga Retreat

You will be spending your week in our traditional stone build villa, within the gorgeous courtyard you will be practising your morning yoga and spending time relaxing, reading or visiting the surrounding area. There is plenty to see and do on your free time. Your afternoon practise will be at a different beach every day, so you get to visit most of the stunning coast of the area, breath taking views will leave you rejuvenated.

Wednesday is the day of your arrival and you should aim to get to the site by around 6pm. We will have a group gathering at around 7.30pm followed by dinner together . The yoga course starts on Thursday morning.

Full Description

Accommodation within a twin room, breakfast, five dinners and two classes every day. There are some of the best restaurants in the village and coast, you can choose where to go or join the group at our suggested tavernas for the five evenings we will be enjoying our dinner out of the villa. There are two bathrooms within the villa so guest share one between two rooms. Car rentals will be arranged for people interested upon arrival.

TRANSFERS:
The transfer is 40 minutes from Larnaca airport. We can arrange a minibus or taxi transfer for you. The price depends on your arrival time and numbers. It can be between €25 to €50 pp each way and it might require waiting for others to arrive.

Teacher & Teaching: Jessica was a competitive swimmer for over 14 years. After graduating from university and retiring from the varsity swim team Jessica turned to yoga as a way to stay fit and active. Her initial interest in yoga was purely physical and she did not anticipate the deep connection between mind, body and breath she would find in her practice. In 2008, Jessica successfully completed her 500 hour Moksha Yoga Teacher Training in Kerala, India and has been guiding people through their own practice ever since. Jessica brings a positive, enthusiastic and encouraging energy to her classes as she tries to ensure that everyone is being challenged in the way they need to be challenged that day.

Leveraging both her background as a London-based marketing manager and the passion she discovered while training in India to be a yoga instructor, Jessica decided to follow her entrepreneurial instincts. Armed with an MBA and 6 years of yoga instruction under her belt, Jessica left the UK and returned home to create a playful space for Toronto’s yoga community—Living proof of the benefits of a balanced life! Jessica encourages her team of Studio Blue instructors to be free-spirited and to inspire a playful sense of community with every class. All participants are motivated to channel their inner child, let go of a busy day, and, for a short moment in time, be present in each and every breath.
