Full Description

Expect “out-of-the-box” and out of this world with the following program:

Thursday 5th March | 6:15pm to 8:15pm at Air Yoga, Woodstock.
Hot, Hip and Holy. Classic retro 90’s Jivamukti Class. All levels.

Friday 6th March | 9:00am to 11:00am at Air Yoga. Woodstock.
Yoga of Indirect Movement and Ganesha Mahaganapati step mantra puja.

.Friday 6th March | 6:00pm to 7:30pm at YOGA ZONE, city centre.
Yoga of the Flower. Chakra Tuning and Karma Calmer. All levels.
A trip through our subconscious and hidden body blockages to the delightful lightness of being.
Yoga has powerful tools to switch on awareness of the energy centres of the body (Chakras) and to cleanse and balance them. Our previous experiences with these classes have been truly awesome and it is a special opportunity to have Dechen take us on this yoga journey.
A class for all levels entwining breath-work, asana sequences, mantras and mindfulness, all packaged into an energising, cleansing and definitely entertaining Dechen-style class.

Saturday 7th March | 9:00am to 11:00am at Air Yoga. Woodstock
Yoga Hands-On Assists: Classic Jivamukti Class with assists by Dechen, and Jay and Misch of Air Yoga.

Saturday 7th March | 2:00pm to 4:00pm at YOGA ZONE, city centre.
Yoga of Hungry Ghosts.
“Not all ghosts pass to the other side or reincarnate. Some are hungry for more yoga! and can get their fix in a yoga session focussing on our fear of death (impermanence) and surrendering attachment to the body.”
A flowing Vinyasa class (not heated) and extended Yoga Nidra Shavasana in which every hunger of this life is engaged and released so that pure consciousness may transcend them and into non-physical layers of reality. Cleansed and fine-tuned we emerge less fettered and more free.

Sunday 8th March | 1:00pm to 3:00pm at YOGA ZONE, city centre.
Epic Yoga Exerience (EYE). Ramayana’s epic myth made yoga.
A highlight of Dechen’s visit. The dramatic and enchanting human experience made yoga.
The ancient story of Princess Sita and Prince Ram is a staple of Indian mythology and culture. A story of magical monkeys, warriors, heroes and demons – a quest for eternal life through dominance or through renunciation. Many of the yoga postures and exercises stem from this story and its characters.
Dechen’s EYE entwines storytelling and music with yoga asana for an immersive experience with insights, fun and delight.
