Yoga Nidra is a lying down meditation in which the body is resting in a comfortable supine position, while the mind is kept awake and engaged with guided meditation techniques and gentle healing sounds.

Full Description

This practice is open to all levels and is ideal for people who work under a lot of pressure, lead stressful lives and suffer of anxiety or insomnia.

The benefits of the practice can be felt immediately, even after just one session. In fact, it is scientifically proven that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra are equivalent to four hours of regular sleep.
The main difference with other types of Yoga is the lack of movement; and the main difference with other types of meditation is that Yoga Nidra is practiced in a very comfortable supine position.

No prior experience of Yoga is needed, just the ability to lie down still for one hour.
