Devon Summer Retreat

In this IYM retreat – integrated yoga + mindfulness, you will work with your mind as much as your body, showing you how to unlock your flexibility and how to work with your stiffest muscle, the one between your ears. We will teach you about 1st and 2nd brain intelligence and how to listen, connect and communicate using both – in standalone mindfulness practices and IYM sequences. You can use this approach as a toolkit to self-reference wherever you are and whatever you are doing.

2.30pm - 5pm IYM introduction: find out why mind’s movements matter, what the breath’s got to do with it and body basics – you are how you sit/stand/move

7.30 pm eat

9.30pm – 10pm IYM sensing exercise: take our internal sensory tour and follow our road map to let go

9 am – 11.30 am IYM – core principles: get a hold of what it means to use 1st and 2nd brain intelligence in IYM sequences
11.30am – 12pm IYM sensing exercise: listening is not hearing

9am – 11.30 am IYM – intelligent strength: explore in movement why mobility, stability and flexibility are integrated body and mind experiences
