Full Description

During your week in Trancoso, Bahia, Brazil, you’ll learn how to design your own yoga practice according to your lifestyle and body type, blending the physical practice and the internal energetic practice, and leaving with the tools to practice on your own when you return home.

You’ll study breathing sequences to calm or energize you, healing techniques from Full Thai Massage to therapeutic Acro Yoga flights and energetic practices to protect yourself against negative energy, all on your own elegant design estate, under the bright brilliant Brazilian sky.

Based in the teachings of Dharma Mittra, you’ll practice techniques of Yoga Nidra, meditation, asana, pranayama, mental and energetic development, anti-stress and energizing techniques, how to manifest positivity into your life and physical and energetic alignment.

Then spend a relaxing afternoon exploring unspoiled beaches, charming shops, and eating luscious fresh fruits and treats. In the evening, sit down to savor a culinary feast made from ocean-fresh delicacies and organic produce straight from the earth.

With a practice personalized according to your needs, and nearly every evening practice ending with a Thai Massage session, you’ll discover the perfect blend between the maximizing enjoyment and luxury, and perfecting the balance between intention and practice.

Casas da Vila Trancoso
Clapboard shutters on the windows and doors open softly, allowing balmy breezes to float in, bringing sweet scents from the leafy, tropical garden. Each of the casitas at Casa da Vila is a mix of rustic and artistic styling, with an underlying emphasis on luxury and comfort: a discreet decadence that aligns perfectly with the Bahian rhythm of life. Decorative elements like antique mirrors, and even a carousel horse, mingle with the natural landscape, tropical flowers and flowing vines, to create a magical ambiance of luxurious, vintage elegance.

Casas da Vila is a whimsical gem, with six individual casitas, spread around a sprawling property, joined together by a central indoor-outdoor living and lounging area, and private pool. Each casita is built to resemble a traditional fisherman’s hut from Bahia, each with an individual, hand-designed, modern and artistic twist. Together, with dining and lounging cabanas, hammocks, and extensive decks and yoga space, Casas da Villa is a dreamland oasis of bohemian chic.

Each casita that makes up the Casas Da Vila was uniquely designed by Brazilian designer Karin Farah, and several have been featured in international magazines like Vogue and Elle Deco. Free People made a stop here in April, 2013. “The walls are washed with a soft blue, fitting in perfectly with the shops and houses in its near surroundings. The cabana is full of clapboard shutters on the windows and doors, allowing you to open up and let the fresh air drift in, leaving trails of natural beauty.”

” A laid back approach makes this Brazilian beach bungalow a little gem in the bohemian Bahia village of Trancoso” Elle Deco Dec 2012. Casas Da Vila on Insta
