Full Description

Dharma Path 3:
Where Truth and Tradition Meets Modern Theory.

Become the yoga teacher you were meant to be. This eleven-week, 200-hour and Yoga Alliance sanctioned teacher training course fuses a deep love for the sacred beginnings of yoga with modern ideas and outlook. Taught by some of the most innovative, passionate and compassionate teachers in the Bay Area, you'll be immersed in the methodology, philosophy and traditional foundations that support the 21st century Western yoga journey.

And you'll be teaching from Day One.

Director of the Dharma Path program and Creative Director/Owner of Samyama Yoga Center John Berg leads methodology and asana. Louis Jackson teaches anatomy while Anirudh Shastri guides us through yoga philosophy.

At mid-term we'll experience an amazing week with local legend Ben Thomas. This includes two evenings and two days of asana study and two weekend workshops of further asana study and philosophy.

Supporting you on the path are teachers Hillary Easom teaching yoga for pregnancy and yoga for special populations, Mimm Patterson offering yin yoga methodology and theory, Lindsay Amrein introducing students to mudra, chanting and Ayurvedic studies and, finally, the amazing tag team of Devin Begley and Amy Rogg leading two workshops on voice, presentation and vibrational/cymatic science.

Successful applicants will receive one Journey 30 and one Journey 15 class package, free of charge. These packages do not expire but they can not be shared. For the duration of the program, from September 4th through November 20th, you will receive a 30% discount on yoga mats, yoga bags, yoga props and all clothes not already discounted (our Nirvana Rack).
