Full Description

Join Melissa Light, Integrative Health Coach and Yoga Instructor for an afternoon centered on cultivating a healthy digestive system.

During this two hour workshop we’ll explore our digestive system, looking at it from a holistic perspective — mind, body, and spirit. Our digestive system is impacted by much more than just the foods we eat. We’ll explore how various changes in daily life (thoughts and feelings) play a role in our ability to process not only our food, but our life experiences as well. We’ll explore the gut microbiome and learn about our second brain (the gut)!

The workshop will include the following tools and techniques: journaling, meditation, asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath expansion), food, essential oils, and supplements.

This workshop will address:
-digestive issues
-bloating
-gassiness
-constipation
-feeling discomfort after eating

You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of the digestive system and ways to support it for optimal functioning. You will receive an informational handout to take home to help guide you on your journey.
