Full Description

The yoga retreat aims to have a mix of yoga classes as well as having enough time to be able to enjoy nature and the activities offered at Tiskita. Below is a breakdown of a typical day in the week-long retreat.

Yoga class schedule:
Activities

6:30 AM Coffee, tea, and infusions at the main lodge
7 to 8:30 AM Yoga practice
9 to 10 AM Breakfast
10:30 to 12:30 PM Activity of choice, one per day*
1 to 2 PM Lunch
2 to 4 PM Rest time
4:30 to 6 PM Yoga practise at sunset
6:30 to 7 PM Dinner

*For example rainforest walk, organic orchard walk, beach, horseback riding, snorkeling, Punta Banco sightseeing, and more.

About Nango

Nango 
is a certified Yoga Teacher in
 Interdisciplinary Yoga.
 She combines in her classes the 
different Yoga styles of 
Iyengar and Anusara Yoga in a Vinyasa style.


Nango has received training in
 the Teacher’s Interdisciplinary 
Yoga Program from the renowned
 Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa
 Rica (2004), an Iyengar course in Bali, Indonesia (2013), as well as multiple imersions and workshops in Anusara Yoga. She has also received courses in Yin Yoga, Tibetan Meditation, Reiki, Pranic Healing, Qi Kung and Ayurveda.

She hosts several Yoga Retreats throughout the year at five different locations in Costa Rica. As well as yearly yoga/cultural/spiritual trips to India, South East Asia and French Polinesia.
Her Karma Yoga Project involves teaching yoga at Centro Penitenciario El Buen Pastor, Costa Rica’s Womens Penitenciary.

Before immersing herself in Yoga, Nango was a professional classical and modern dancer, choreographer and director at her own Studio “Danzarte School of Classical Ballet”.
Transportation

The yoga retreat package does not include transportation, but Tiskita can assist with travel arrangements within Costa Rica.
