Full Description

ABOUT THE TRAINING:
In this training, Marysia will teach you unique techniques to make advanced asana more accessible. She will not only get you to access advanced asana in your own practice, but also understand the technical information to make the poses easily available to your students as well. She will help you distinguish between physical limitations in a student's body, versus a lack of technical understanding in the pose. Through teaching practicuums, Marysia will teach you how to be more observant in the classroom. As your awareness in the classroom increases, she will teach you how to give more personally appropriate adjustments to enhance each student’s capabilities. She will help you explore smart sequencing to optimize strength, flexibility, and concentration. You will also learn ways to motivate students in the classroom and strategies on how to be more responsive to what's happening in the classroom.
In this training, you will learn:
· How to make advanced postures accessible to students based on their individual talents and physical limitations.
· Sequencing and techniques that enhances all students strength, flexibility and concentration in a mixed level class.

· Business development advice for marketing yourself as a teacher and creating the teaching career you would like to achieve.
· Feedback on integrating these teaching techniques in teaching practicums.

ABOUT MARYSIA:
Marysia Do began practicing yoga in 2002 in New York. In 2003 she relocated to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California. In Los Angeles she continued to study under the tutelage of Brock and Krista Cahill.
Yoga is Marysia’s continual source of strength and peace. Marysia teaches empowerment by believing in her students and their ability to achieve their goals both on and off the yoga mat. Although we cannot always control the circumstanced we are given, we can choose how we deal with those circumstances. In the pursuit of advanced asana Marysia teaches students to exercise productive thinking with the same diligence they exercise their bodies.
In addition to teaching yoga Marysia is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. Having treated a number of yoga related injuries Marysia is meticulous when it comes to alignment. She sees yoga as a healing art that, when practised mindfully, will not cause, but rather heal injuries. With a strong foundation and a lot of core work, students have quick access to postures they may never have thought possible.
Currently Marysia is living in Singapore with her amazing husband and teaches at Pure Yoga. She is a proud Ambassador for Pure Apparel and Yoga Gives Back.
